Bed and BreakfastsWe have gathered a list of B&B’s together, based purely on personal recommendations. While we have not necessarily visited these, they have earned their place here because someone has stayed there and recommended them. Where I can I have included the comments made by those who have stayed at these places.

Wendy and Stu Iglesias at www.maritimerbb.com
This Bed and Breakfast has a variety of self contained suites set in the most beautiful gardens and within easy walking distance of the harbour at Gibsons. Breakfasts are wonderful, sitting on the deck and drinking in the view. |

This was a beautiful bungalow just outside the town, high up, with lovely views across the lake. The B&B is gorgeous.... The breakfasts are fantastic. |
| Nelson |
This is a beautiful place, so relaxing and magical. After a hectic roadtrip this was just the place we needed. Views of the mountains and lake. |
| North Vancouver |
Spotlessly clean, and a convenient location. |
| North Vancouver |
It was very convenient to the sea bus which we were able to walk to go over into the city. The main main street nearby which leads down to the harbour is full of shops and restaurants. The B&B is very clean and beautifully furnished and the rooms are very comfortable. Bren A. Beware that there is a steep flight of steps up to the house. |
| Osoyoos |
This place is rather unusual because it is run by Jack Newton, a world-renowned astronomer. If possible he gives you a guided tour of the night sky. Unfortunately when we were there the weather did not permit. Jack however gave us a fantastic show in his media room - better than most movie theatres! Book early. |
| Port Moody Greater Vancouver |
Roger and Sally at Inlet Bay Retreat
This bed and breakfast retreat is nestled into the hillside in picturesque Port Moody, within the Greater Vancouver Regional District, with spectacular views of Burnaby Mountain and the Burrard Inlet and backs directly onto the beautiful forest of Heritage Mountain. The area is great for kayaking, canoeing, golfing, fishing and hiking. Note that Roger is a nurse from the UK and was one of the first to come in under the Provincial Nominee Programme. Roger and Sally are knowledgeable hosts. “The gourmet breakfasts are delicious, the bed & linens are excellent, the rooms and décor are lovely. We shall look forward to returning. This is ten star. Excellenté” |
| Qualicum Beach |
This was a house literally on the beach. We had a room at the back with a balcony and went to sleep at night with the doors open and the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. The breakfasts are awesome and served in the conservatory out back. We loved it there. |
| Vancouver |
A great start to our holiday, with wonderful breakfasts and good company. It was also very convenient for exploring. Simone is a delightful and informative host.

| Victoria | George and Helena at Haro House
Shameless plug for my cousin’s bed and breakfast in Victoria. This is a truly magical spot overlooking the Haro Strait - sleep 15ft from the water. Great for a couple on a romantic getaway. |
| Victoria 6 miles out |
Alan and Lavinia at Millstream Llama Farm
This is a fantastic place, set in six acres. The rooms are beautiful, ground floor with views over the grounds and the Llamas! They are happy for the llamas to be taken for walks and for guests to go in with them. Alana and Lavinia are originally Cornish. They are extremely hospitable and made us very welcome. |
| White Rock |
I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, just check out the website. Norm, the owner was very accommodating (no pun intended). |
