How does the relocation service work?

If you are coming to BC on a research trip, then we suggest that you book a research tour with us. We will give you a tailored half day tour so that you can find out about the area.

By the end of the day you will be able to sign up with us a relocation client. That gives you access to our exclusive services. These are free to you as a client.

How can you offer this service free?

This service is paid for by the commission that we earn when you buy your home with our help. In Canada, the buyer does not pay for the services of their REALTOR®. Both buying and selling realtors are paid for by the seller.

This means that as the buyer, you get to use our services for free.

You should use a REALTOR® to represent you when you are buying because offers to buy are legally binding. Realtors are licensed and bonded and have passed exams so that they know the legal implications of buying and selling. Your REALTOR® is there to protect your interests and help you get the best deal.

Unlike the UK you should work with only one REALTOR®. This is because all realtors have access to the Multiple Listings Service (MLS®), so you can be sure that your REALTOR® knows about all the properties for sale. Unlike in the UK where each estate agent has their own listings, the MLS® has all the listings from all selling agents.
